Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America

As a leader with Moms Demand Action, I recruited and developed dozens of volunteers and emerging leaders, building a strong and engaged team. I led monthly meetings during the transition out of the COVID pandemic and increased attendance by creating clear structure, strong communication, and meaningful opportunities for involvement. I helped organize multiple statehouse advocacy days with more than 100 attendees each, coordinating logistics, volunteer training, and direct engagement with elected officials. I have also served as a public spokesperson, speaking with the press and at community events about gun violence prevention, gun safety, and the Be SMART for Kids program. Through this work, I strengthened volunteer engagement, advanced legislative advocacy efforts, and represented the organization with clarity and credibility.

Noblesville Democrats

As Vice President and then President of the Noblesville Democrats, I focused on growing and strengthening the organization. Through targeted outreach and marketing campaigns, I recruited dozens of new members and leaders. Meeting attendance increased from 7 people to more than 60 active participants. Fundraising efforts also improved. While I was President, individual donations grew from 70 donors in 2024 to 168 in 2025, and our email list expanded from about 100 contacts to nearly 500, giving us a stronger way to communicate with supporters and mobilize volunteers. To create structure and share leadership, I established subcommittees for advocacy, events, fundraising, and communications. I led a complete rebrand to clarify our message and improve our visibility in the community. Overall, I helped turn a small group into a growing, organized, and engaged community team with clear goals and measurable results.
